Ben Caballero, a Realtor® and broker in Addison, TX, earned that honor after selling an astounding 3,556 homes in one calendar year, achieving “the most annual home sales transactions through MLS by an individual sell-side real estate agent.” That’s 296 homes in a month, 10 homes per day, worth a whopping $1.44 billion in sales.

How did he do it?

In short, two things: technology and experience. His company, HomesUSA.com, specializes in getting newly built homes up on the multiple listing service fast—faster than anyone else, to be specific. That way, a builder can submit a request in a few minutes, and they can process it in as little as 10 minutes. After that, Caballero’s work is practically done.

Buyers and their agents that click on the listing are put in touch with the builder’s agent. They meet and complete the deal. In the meantime, Caballero has moved on. He’s already received his flat fee from the builders to get their homes on the MLS in record time.

Caballero attributes his success and the success of his company to his experience. He got his start way back in 1960, and since then he has taken an active role in learning what technology can do to make his job easier at every step.
